As Egypt's military has been deployed to the streets to break-up protests, the US State Department has issued a travel warning for those wishing to visit Egypt. US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton has also weighed in with the official position to the events unfolding. Hilary Clinton SOT: As we have repeatedly said, we support the universal human rights of the Egyptian people including the right to freedom of expression, association, and of assembly. We urge the Egyptian authorities to allow peaceful protests and to reverse unprecedented steps it has taken to cut off communications. More protests are scheduled throughout New York and the rest of the US in the coming days. Protesters say they'll continue to mobilize as long as their brothers and sisters in Egypt need them to.
